The Psychology Times 2013 COMMUNITY AWARD MEDIA Suzanne Chabaud
After it was first discovered that x-rays harmed a baby in the womb, it took another 25 years for that knowledge to reach physicians in a way that protected women and their unborn children.
The Media Award acknowledges that for an idea to make a difference, it has to reach people in a meaningful way. Dr. Suzanne Chabaud continued her efforts to reach out and help, this time hosting a Summit for the Children of Hoarders at her firm in New Orleans. Chabaud has been collecting scientific information about generational issues for those growing up in the home of a hoarder. Chabaud serves as an expert for the award-winning A&E TV show Hoarders.
