The Times previously requested information in July, August, and September of 2011, regarding proceedings of the MPAC. In January 2012 the Times again requested information and sent a certified letter to Dr. Marier who sent minutes of the January 2011 MPAC meeting to the Times.
Dr. Marier also provided the Times with the agenda and discussion materials when the publisher attended the recent February 23 meeting.
It does not appear that the MPAC announced its meetings in 2011, a requirement for open meetings.
