A bill that re-creates the Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH), and along with it, the state psychology board, Senate Bill 87, passed the full Senate on April 26. SB 87 re-creates DHH “and its statutory entities” for a four year period. The legislation “Supersedes the provisions of the ‘Sunset’ law,” and makes July 1, 2017 the new Sunset date.
