Professional Training Resources and Dr. John Simoneaux will present “DSM-5 Overview: Making the Transition” on May 3 in Baton Rouge at the Marriot Hotel. He will present the workshop also in Lafayette, at the Holiday Inn, on May 17, and again in Shreveport, at the Holiday Inn, on May 24.
The workshop is designed to help mental health professionals to analyze the history of the diagnostic manual and to describe the major new differences in DSM-5 structure, diagnostic criteria, and in other features. The workshop will include a review of the new diagnostic classifications that have been altered since DSM-IV and a look at major revisions in personality disorders.
