Dr. Stacy Overstreet, Tulane Chair of Psychology, has been announced by the Society for the Study of School Psychology as the group’s newest President-Elect. She will begin her three years as elect, president, then past- president for the Society.
The Society for the Study of School Psychology (SSSP) restricts its members to 150 individuals across the nation. The group evaluates potential members for their sustained contributions to the field of school psychology, including members’ impact on training, science, and practice. Other Louisiana members of SSSP include Tulane’s Drs. Bonnie Nastasi and LSU’s Dr. George Noell.
