We are very impressed with the Lake Charles Research Group, an open, free-standing group of local psychologists, interns, post-doctoral fellows, practicum students, and “pretty much anybody else who’s just interested in publishing journal articles and doing presentations at conferences,” according to one of the organizers, Dr. Larry Dilks. The group gets people involved in psychological research and provides key support to them. The proof is in the pudding, since the members are very productive, presenting work at regional and national conferences.
Getting people involved in applied research for over 15 years, with very little or no red tape––we were delighted to give them our 2015 Award for Involvement.
