She explained to the Times that she is serving a three- year term as the SIOP Consortia Chair, and currently in the second year.

According to a February LSU press release, the consortia are preconference training opportunities designed for students in industrial- organizational psychology programs, and also for junior faculty. The development activities help students build relationships with others in the field and build knowledge, and the Junior Faculty helps new professors prepare for challenges in tenure and career decisions, explained the LSU press release.
