The March “Notice of Intent” for changes to the psychology board’s rules for continuing education, also called continuing professional development, are being reviewed. The board received 23 comments about issues in the proposed rules. Current Executive Director, Ms. Jaime Monic, noted, “We received 23 comments via email prior to the deadline to submit comments. At this time, the Board will give consideration to those comments, make a decision on how to proceed, respond to the comments and provide a report to the respective oversight committees.” Monic said the issue is on the Board’s agenda for its May 13 meeting.
