In 2015 the psychology board tried to remove the language from the Psychology Practice Act that gives the Louisiana Psychological Association the right to create the “list of names” submitted to the Governor for appointment to the state board.
LSBEP members sat with and chatted with the lobbyists from LAMP during the legislative committee meetings. At the same time, a policy passed by the psychology board restricted press interviews and questions about events.
Minutes from certain meetings of the board during the efforts to advance Senate Bill 113 have now gone missing.
