VIA LINK is supplying a hurricane dashboard to act as the state’s official source of information and assistance for residents before, during, and after hurricanes, according to the news release. VIA LINK’s role is to receive incoming 211 calls, texts and messages, keep resource directories current and updated, and be ready to assist all those who rely on the 211 system in Southeast Louisiana. This year, VIA LINK is able to offer a new tool to organizations and local, state, and national leaders to help further improve decision-making capabilities in the aftermath of a major storm – their high-tech Hurricane Dashboard.
